Kind of agree … China had a single promotion strategy – Get jobs from US by keeping US companies happy in terms of low value of yuan, low taxes and no regulations. Now some heads should also roll in China on it’s flawed strategy.

But looks like nothing major change will happen in China’s strategy. They will buy Dollars ( a lot of dollars ) so that US companies can keep their manufacturing in China – because China doesn’t have plan B.

But with this strategy China has a real issue- now it is certain that dollar will lose value in near and medium term. So technically China is giving money free to US companies in exchange of jobs. It’s people of China who are sponsoring profits of US companies by going through inflation and hardship. But they have a job !!! This is the calculation where China thought it was winning, and now realizing that there isn’t any winner.

Let’s see what’s the plan B by China and will they really punish accountable Chinese politicians for their loss and reliance on single US dependent strategy.
