Help Us Spread the Word

Since we’re asking you to donate to charity this month when you may already be feeling some pressure on your Christmas budget, we’re excited to offer four fantastic prizes this week for four lucky winners. Details below!

 

 

1. A $25 giftcard to Starbucks. I don’t know about you all, but Tara and I both LOVE pumpkin spice lattes. I mean, we really, really love them. Keep this one for yourself or wrap it up and stick it in a stocking for someone you love!

2. An Elmo Live doll. Yep, that’s right. One of this season’s hottest toys, Elmo “waves his arms, sits and stands, even crosses his legs all the while telling stories and jokes, singing songs and playing games,” and we’ve got one for a lucky winner right here!

3. The Girl Gourmet Cupcake Maker. Another one of the season’s hottest toys, “The Cupcake Maker lets you make cupcakes in 30 seconds! Then use the Cupcake Froster to create your own cupcake designs.” If you read my personal blog, you know I heart cupcakes, so I’m really excited about this one as well. It would make a great gift for a special little girl, and we’re giving one away this week!

4. EyeClops Night Vision Infrared Stealth Goggles. “Powered by actual infrared driven night vision technology, EyeClops Night Vision enables clear visibility up to 50 feet in even complete, pitch dark environments.” I think this would make an awesome gift for…well, for almost anyone on your list. One lucky winner will receive one and be able to do just that!

 

So how can you win one of these great prizes?

Every reader has three methods to enter this contest. Each of the entries below offers you one entry, so choose one, two or all three to increase your chances!!!

1. We want to get the word out about The One Dollar Give, so your first chance to enter is to help us spread the word to your friends, family and blog readers. Post about the campaign on your blog with a link back to us, send an email to your friends and family, or post on a message board and leave us a comment letting us know you’ve done so.

2. The blogosphere and online community is a powerful force. Help us spread the word by Stumbling and reviewing our site, tweeting about us on Twitter (hashtag #1dollargive), posting our site on Facebook or submitting it to Digg, Delicious or any other social media site. Then come back and leave us a separate comment.

3. Finally, subscribe to our feed so that you’re sure to receive the daily updates in December with an introduction to each featured organization and a link to donate $1.  If you’re already subscribed, just let us know that as well. You can subscribe in a feed reader or by email. Be sure to leave a separate comment letting us know you’ve subscribed.

It is important that you leave a separate comment for each type of entry because each comment is equal to one entry. It really is that important to tally and select the winner easily, and we really appreciate your help in simplifying the process!

This giveaway ends at 11:59 p.m. EDT on Sunday, November 30th. For each of the four prizes, we’ll use Random.org to generate a number that corresponds with the winning comment number and post the four winners on Monday, December 1st.

    My children and I just yesterday delivered three Thanksgiving baskets to three families who were struggling to make ends meet.
